Executive Management

David’s responsibilities include profitably growing Promina’s direct niche businesses to positions of leadership in their respective markets and developing new niche propositions utilising proven strategic capabilities to realise the Promina Group’s Strategic goals.

David is a fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. David holds a tertiary Honours Degree and joined Royal & Sun Alliance UK as a graduate in 1984. Subsequently, he spent his UK career in commercial intermediated lines with portfolio management and relationship accountabilities before coming to Australia as APIA General Manager in 1999.

Stephen’s career within IT spans twenty eight years spread across the General Insurance and Superannuation industries.  Since 2000 Stephen has held General Manager positions within Australian Alliance Insurance and Information Technology. During his diverse career he has led a variety of Consulting and Applications Development Groups. He lives in Melbourne and is married with one child.

Geoff joined the organisation as a branch officer in Hobart, Tasmania in 1989 working for AAMI. Since then Geoff has built up a wealth of general insurance knowledge and experience having held a number of senior operational management positions for AAMI working in various states across Australia. Geoff has recently returned to his home of Melbourne as Executive Manager - Apia.

As Executive Manager for Shannons Limited and Shannons Auctions limited Graeme is responsible for the overall management of Shannons. Joining the Group in 2000, Graeme has held management roles within AAMI for both Home and Motor Claims. Immediately prior to being appointed the Executive Manager of Shannons, Graeme was the NSW State Manager for Apia for 3 1/2 years.

He has both a Bachelor of Economics and a Masters of Business.
